Rogers First Set Returns to the 2024 National Bank Open in Toronto and Montreal
Whether it’s through revitalizing existing courts or building year-round courts, guiding those who are new to tennis, or creating fun ways to play and compete, we’re working hard to ensure that more people can enjoy the game, develop their skills, and thrive in the sport we love.
We’re dedicated to improving and expanding tennis infrastructure across the country. Our facilities development initiatives support year-round access, court revitalization, and community engagement, ensuring more people can enjoy tennis 12 months a year.
Bringing tennis indoors! The Rogers Year-Round Community Tennis Courts Program focuses on building air-supported dome facilities to enable year-round play. With a goal of 160 covered courts by 2029, this program ensures community members can play, train, and compete regardless of the season.
Revitalizing outdoor tennis! The National Bank Play Your Court Program focuses on upgrading and repairing existing outdoor courts to extend their lifespan and improve accessibility. With a target of 100 revitalized courts by 2030, this initiative ensures more Canadians can enjoy quality outdoor tennis facilities.
The Rogers First Set program is all about putting racquets in more kids’ hands. Through fun, engaging, and inclusive opportunities, we’re helping Canadian youth learn fundamental tennis skills and develop a lifelong love for the game.
