The Calgary Tennis Club welcomed over 300 tennis players in its first Open 1000-level tournament and raised $18,000 for charity.

Benjamin Bonzi captures Winnipeg National Bank Challenger title

France’s Benjamin Bonzi defeated Japan’s Sho Shimabukuro 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 in the championship match to capture the crown at the seventh edition of the event held in the Manitoba capital.

$10,000 NB Open presented by ForFitness and Athletics & Yip Cider

The dust has finally settled on the $10,000 NB Open which was hosted at the Rothesay Tennis Club July 26-28.  The Rothesay Tennis Club was able to host a successful tournament, largely credited to its staff and volunteers, and this year it was elevated further by including two presenting sponsors to the event: ForFitness and Athletics & Yip Cider.

Northwest Territories Open hosts 70 matches over the weekend

The Northwest Territories Open hosted 70 matches and ran several clinics for adults and juniors over the last weekend of July. The NWT Open welcomed approximately 50 players from Yellowknife and Fort Smith to participate.
