Host and promote a Tennis Month event:

You’re a tennis association, club, school, teacher, coach or local tennis advocate and you’d like to learn more about how to host, register and promote a Tennis Month in Canada event.

You’re a tennis fan, advocate, club or corporate partner and you’d like to help spread the word about Tennis Month in Canada.

Spread the word by sending a press release to local media or asking your local government to officially recognize June as Tennis Month!

Community tennis providers, including clubs, municipalities, schools, and coaches, can register their event through the Tennis Month Host Application portal provided by Tennis Canada. Simply fill out the form and follow the step-by-step instructions to submit your event details.

Submit events by April 30th to maximize promotion during the Tennis Month campaign. You can continue submitting events afterwards as they become available.

The Tennis Month toolkit is your go-to resource for seamless event planning and promotion.

Once you download the Tennis Month in Canada Marketing Toolkit, don’t forget to fill out the hosting application through the Tennis Month Host Application portal (see the registration question above).

Additional guidelines include: 

  • Registering your event through the Tennis Month Host Application portal 
  • Add any Rogers First Set events to the Rogers First Set App for broader promotion. 
  • Ensure events promote ongoing participation for youth beyond Tennis Month. 

Beginner-friendly sessions, family-oriented activities, and free or low-cost options work best. Tennis Canada’s Rogers First Set program supports delivering these types of activities, introducing youth and families to tennis through fun, structured activities.

Absolutely! Community tennis providers are encouraged to host as many events as they wish, from beginner clinics to family fun days.

Yes! Don’t forget to tag us @TennisCanada and your PTTA to amplify your reach.

Yes, organizations must provide proof of insurance. This includes Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance with:

  • $2,000,000 coverage for bodily injury and property damage per occurrence.
  • $1,000,000 coverage for tenants’ legal liability.

Certified TPA coaches automatically meet these insurance guidelines.

Yes! Community tennis providers hosting Rogers First Set events receive a merchandise package with giveaways and prizes to enhance their event.

Submit a participation report to Tennis Canada at tennismonth@tenniscanada.com after your event and be sure to include:

  • Feedback
  • Participant numbers
