WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST TENNIS MEMORY?

I started taking lessons on the city courts in Saint-Bruno when I was around 13 years old.

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO CHOOSE TENNIS?

I’ve always been very sporty. I started playing competitive soccer when I was about three years old. After I had surgery, I couldn’t play soccer or any other contact sports anymore, so I had to find something else. Fortunately, I found tennis.

HOW, WHERE AND WHEN DID YOU START PLAYING WHEELCHAIR TENNIS?

I discovered wheelchair tennis as a ball kid at the Omnium de Saint-Hyacinthe. The tournament was held at the club where I trained when I was still a standing player. Then I started playing wheelchair tennis in September 2022 and trained at Sani Sport in Brossard.

HOW HAS YOUR FAMILY IMPACTED YOUR TENNIS CAREER?

My family and friends help me so much in my career. They support me and are always there for me.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION AND WHY?

Terry Fox is an example of determination. Every generation knows him. He’s proof anything’s possible in life.

Snowboarding and soccer

WHAT’S ONE THING PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO LEARN ABOUT YOU?

I’ve always set very specific goals for myself, even when I was a little girl. So I have a life plan for the next decade. And I write with my left hand but (unfortunately) play with my right.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN 3 WORDS.

Resilient, gourmand and energetic.

IF YOU WEREN’T PLAYING TENNIS, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?

My dream is to compete in marathons and triathlons.

OTHER THAN TENNIS, WHAT ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?

I love eating! And also fashion, music and travelling all over the world.
