James G. Bagnell, Director

James G. Bagnell started his career in his family business, and soon after, became President and CEO of a group of companies specializing in providing products and industrial services throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. As this business expanded and prospered, Bagnell established and built several environmental companies specializing in waste management services in the oil/gas and aviation sectors. These companies eventually expanded across Canada, the United States, Europe, and South East Asia. One of these companies, Inland Technologies Canada Inc., with its head office in Truro, Nova Scotia, employs thousands offering aircraft de-icing, fluid recovery, and ground handling services.

After divesting of most of these businesses, Bagnell remains active today serving on several Boards and as CEO of Intec Investment Holdings Inc., a company actively involved in real estate development and venture capital for regional startup businesses, including investment to help build two indoor tennis facilities in Nova Scotia. Throughout his career, James was a recipient of several business and export achievement awards.

James and his wife Nicole reside in the Halifax region. In addition to being a horse racing enthusiast, James is a tennis fan, and enjoys playing tennis with family and friends, and spending time with his two grandsons.
