Jordan Jacobs joined the Tennis Canada Board of Directors in May 2021.

He is currently the Managing Partner and co-founder of Radical Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in artificial intelligence companies. His career has included many high-profile roles including as co-CEO and co-founder of AI company Layer 6 (acquired by TD Bank in 2018), and co-founder of the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence. He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR). Previously, Jacobs was a tech, media, and sports lawyer, and founded SpyBox Media, through which he executively produced the award-winning TV series Spectacle alongside Sir Elton John and Elvis Costello.

Jacobs fell in love with tennis as a child and was even a ball kid at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers as well as Davis Cup ties. In addition to regularly attending the National Bank Open, he has travelled to various tennis events around the world as a fan, including Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, the US Open, Indian Wells, and the Laver Cup. His two sons are tennis enthusiasts and promising players who are both part of high performance academies.
